Dear families,
Wow! We've had lots of winter rain in the last couple of weeks, and the nights are down right chilly!
Who knows, maybe we'll even get a few snow flurries and a couple of ice storms by the time winter is done with us.
And have you noticed that the streets, parking lots, and shopping centers are all crammed full of people who are trying to purchase their last minute gifts??
Families are traveling to share time with loved ones, lights are strung on homes, in trees, and on whatever else Austinites can get their hands on. I've even seen smoke floating from a few chiminies in the last few days.
While I'm thinking about the joy of the season, I would like to take this moment to share with you all.
I would like you to know that I have enjoyed each and every day that is spent with your children. It is wonderful to have so many parents who are investing such quality time in their children's lives. Thank you so much for being a part of this year so far, whether it is through doing homework with your child, being a classroom helper, being a member of the PTA, collecting box tops ... you have all helped us become a close knit community by caring! That brings joy to my spirit, and hopefully to yours as well!
Please enjoy this Winter Break as you treat others the way that you would like to be treated.
Hug your little ones from Ms. Christofferson. :)
Have a very Merry Christmas! And for those of you who celebrate in other ways, Happy Holidays!
See you soon,
Ms. Christofferson
